This is this weeks episode I speak with Iain Smith who is the in-house sound engineer and technical manager in two of Glasgow’s best live music venues, The Garage and The Cathouse. He talks about how he worked his way up from crew pushing boxes about up through the ranks to become technical manager dealing with touring acts, large scale events in the venues and describes what he is looking for when taking on freelancer sound engineers to work on the shows.
